Here is all the information you need to know about Monday Haircare products, so keep reading.
What is MONDAY Haircare?
MONDAY is the brainchild of Entrepreneur Jaimee Lupton of New Zealand initially introduced the brand in 2018 before expanding to the United States. in January 2021.
Despite having only four shampoo and conditioner formulas (Gentle, Moisture, Smooth, and Volume), all of which cost $8, the indie brand’s assortment of pink, sparsely designed bottles and pure formulas quickly struck a chord with consumers, seemingly overnight turning it into an Instagram sensation.
In fact, the brand claims they’ve sold more than half a million bottles and counting since coming to the United States, selling more than 10,000 bottles every day (or seven bottles every minute, in case you were wondering).
MONDAY Haircare Pros & Cons
What Are the Standout Ingredients in the VOLUME Range?

MONDAY Haircare Scent
As for the fragrance, all of MONDAY‘s products feature the brand’s signature light, fruity-floral scent that is reminiscent of gardenias.
Even though I generally don’t give my haircare products much thought—I care much more about the results than its olfactory benefits—I couldn’t help but steal whiffs of it as I got out of the shower.
Rest assured, though, that the scent is light and won’t overpower your preferred perfume if you are allergic to strong fragrances or prefer that your hair not smell like a Macy’s fragrance counter all day.
MONDAY Haircare Package
I love pump bottles, and this light pink set (made of recycled plastic) is by far the prettiest item in my shower. While the conditioner comes out as a white cream, the shampoo comes out as a pearly, thick gel.
Despite how long my hair had grown, I only needed a small amount of each product to cover every strand. My favorite things about the shampoo are how nourishing it is and how simple it is to apply to my hair.
The conditioner is equally outstanding, and both rinse off without leaving any greasy residue.
Where Can You Buy MONDAY Products?
These can be purchased from Tesco if you live in the UK. The shampoo and conditioner retail for £4 each.
As an alternative, Beauty Bay sells the shampoo and conditioner for £5.50 each.
Final Words on Monday Shampoo and Conditioner Reviews
Overall, I’ve enjoyed using the MONDAY Haircare range. It feels as though your hair is being cleaned by the shampoo because of how well it lathers.
I occasionally find that body-building or “volume-boosting” products can leave a residue, but I didn’t notice this at all with the MONDAY shampoo.
This conditioner might be even more effective than the shampoo in terms of quality! I love how nourishing it is and how silky and soft it makes my hair feel.
Considering the quality, I believe both products are very reasonably priced and have wonderful scents (without being overpowering).
