1920's Purple Drop Waist Dress

Evie from "The House of Elliot" would wear this and so might her sister. This is an unbelievably gorgeous example of a 1920's day dress and in such good strong wearable condition and how fantastic is the shade of purple, deep and rich without being "Gawdy" and the the suttle hint of pink at the neckline makes the colour very easy to wear. The material is that fantastic but extinct very fine grosgrain which hangs or should I say drops with that little bit of weight so it swings gracefully as you move. The dress has a side metal zip under the arm to hip and another small metal one at the back of neck allowing ease of dressing. This dress has some fine and typical examples of the favoured style of that era with the bat wing sleeves ending in a fitted forearm above wrist length emphasing and giving the illusion of a dainty wrist even if you haven't one and this dress has finished this off with beautiful button - cuff detail. The other iconic style feature of this era is the drop-waist and this dress is tailored with this very fashionable 20s drop-waist which is highlighted with the cross-over illusion ending in side buttons and a beautiful metal and diamonte buckle brooch for decoration only. NOTE: All buttons & buckle are original and intact.

1960s Jackie Kennedy Dress

The Re-knowned House Fisher's of London, tailors of coats & suits boasts this complete Dress with matching coat outfit. Its a beautiful Torquiose blue with champagne colour silk thread pattern throughout. This is a fantastic example of that Jackie O look of the 60's, beautiful simple shapes with classic tailoring. 1980's Torquoise Blue One-Shoulder Formal Dress

1950's Aqua-Marine Green with Gold/Silver Lame Dress

A stunning and quite unusual design for a full skirted Prom style Dress. There is a more casual feel to it than the usual 50's prom dress, I think its the heaviness of the material and the pleated rather than gathered skirt as well the extra cut-away sleeveless arms give it a relaxed and fun feel to it. In the photos I have added a few variation 'cause I think you should have great fun with this dress. I have wrapped a huge Tulle belt around the waist and didn't show it but you could have a great big bow trail to the back , or as most of the photos show it as its great self other than the later photos in which I have a crinoline underskirt to fill it out and Prom it up......Have Fun and Love It.

1950's Baby Blue Wool dress

This is a fab. little number, in a light wool and possibly a linen mix. Its a wiggle shape and a mini ,so cute . A great dress for both summer or winter. Its light enough for summer and great with a pair of heels for a summer wedding or day at the races. 1970'S Romantic Blue lilac chiffon frill dress

This dress has a loose fitting bodice with a square neckline front and back. It has full short sleeve with a tiny padding in the cuff for the frill of the sleeve. The elasticated waist makes it an easy fit as well as adding to the overall soft layering of the dress. The four tiered layers of chiffon are of even depth and fall to a below knee lenght. The frills are balanced withe square soulders of the bodice and drawn in with the same colour satin ribbon belt. A very beautiful and feminine dress., lovely for wedding or just going out for dinner.
