"Homes" Mustard and Tan Patent Leather Handbag

This is a beautiful 1950's handbag in pristine condition, its showing no signs of ever being used at all. Its unusual patent pattern can only be described like colour being dropped into water, a marbling effect giving shade and swirls of mustard, tan and gold colours, really very beautiful. This classic style bag has a gold metal frame and crown shape clasp in perfect working order and opens at the top. The interior is in a cream fine Grograin material with no stains or markings. It has a zipped side pocket with an additional extension pocket and on the opposite side is another side pocket in which there is a mirror still wrapped in its paper. The bags exterior is 9.5" wide and stands at 7". Its has a short forearm handle which is 6" from the tip of its arc. French Edwardian Beaded Evening Purse

The weight in this purse alone gives the clue to its age, it is of substance, substantial, exquisite, there is no equivalent today. This French beaded evening purse has a gold ribbon flower pattern in the beading, displayed in the contrast shading of the beads. The bottom of the purse is typical of its time with its zig-zag fringing and inter-weaving latticing. It has a gold metal frame mouth with ball twist clasp and double chain handle to rest on your wrist. The lining is a fine grosgrain cloth in perfect condition other than some discolouring from age. Its label reads.... made in France. This is a treasure and would make for a very special present to either yourself or to someone deserving.

1920's Gold Chain Purse

This is just a great treat of a purse, the weight of it is glorious and substantial. The exterior chain is perfect as is the metal frame. The silk lining is certainly showing some wear but has serious character, I don't know if you would use it for coins but for cards or lipstick it would be great, its an evening purse. The clasp is in perfect working condition but does appear to be missing a diamonte stone alas not taking from its character and charm. The interior label reads DURAMES made in the USA.
